How Mesob Africa protects your data
We collect only the data needed to provide Mesob Africa services and process purchases securely. Payment data is handled by Stripe; we do not store full card details on our servers.

You can delete your Mesob Africa account at any time from Profile → "Delete Account", which requires confirming your password. If you signed up with Google Sign-In, your account has no password, so you should request deletion through our contact form instead. If you cannot sign in for any other reason, you can also use the contact form. Full step-by-step instructions are on our Delete Account page.
When you delete your account, we permanently delete your active sessions, family/kids profiles, and reading and listening progress. We anonymize your account record — replacing your email with a non-routable placeholder, clearing your name, destroying your password credential, deactivating the account, and removing your avatar, bio, phone number, and any author profile details.
We retain purchase and transaction records and related audit logs, because financial and tax law requires us to keep records of transactions. By the time deletion completes, these records are anonymized and no longer linked to you personally. They are retained for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting law.
